Batch sparge acidification

I don't know anything about sparge acidification. Is it different for batch spargers? What should I acidify the sparge to?

I'm using RO water.

interestingly about 8 hours after pitching the beer temp climbed rapidly from 74.8F to 77.1 in about an hour and a half (5.5 gallons). Not sure why, my heater was off during that time. Stayed there...

no. 40% abv will not ignite at room temperature. it has to be around 50% to auto-ignite at 75F. 40% will ignite around 80F.

This is my first time using it. It seems pretty clear right now 5 days after pitching however.

if you're using the same water source and same yeast, your beers will have very similar flavor profiles.

obviously your stouts will have roasted notes and your pales will have bitter/hop notes but...

I just don't think i've ever seen it where I have a nice think krausen in the morning to absolutely nothing when i get home.
