I had the same issue and just used Teflon tape...

I had the same issue and just used Teflon tape plus a few large rubber washers. No issues over about 10 brews now.

I rinse mine and then throw it in the washer with oxyclean. Seems to work for me. Figure the chlorine in my tap water more then likely dissipates by the time I need the bag again.
