Yeah but I was wondering if it could be done in reverse instead of warming it up start hight and let it slowly cool but it seems it cannot be done that way around.

It is a good recipe for a beginner I did it as my first extract brew I would suggest brewing it as it is for the first time and judging it for yourself and playing around with it the second time...

Yeah you should have some activity in your airlock by now I would just double check you temperature of the liquid and not just the surrounding temp and also just check that your lid is properly...
