I leave them in while cooling. Instead of trying to pick up a 5 gallon kettle I use my racking cane to put the wort into the carboy. All that is left is the hop bags and a dirty pot.

A sad day at my house...

Well yesterday I emptied my first keg. It was a good IPA. It's life was short, but was loved by me day in and day out. I will miss that little IPA. Let's all have a moment of silence please.
