I don't think the spigot would ruin or make a beer. Although in the long run, invest in a glass secondary if you plan on aging often.

Used the lime leaves, this beer tastes like lysol. I used 8 for a 4.5 gallon batch...way to overbearing. Damn. "moderation" is the key here I guess.

We use black cherry extract mixed with some hard sugar for kool-aid here :) It's good stuff, but definitely holds on to that "cough syrup"...
