It's a yeast energizer. Like Servomyces(sp?). It's yeast hulls (dead yeast) and some other ingredients to speed up fermentation.

They're 1.09/ea or 6 for 5.99

That's probably a bit over-zealous. I remember reading (can't recall where now) that no more than 10s of pure 02 is needed for 5 gallons of wort. Anything over "X PPM" (whatever X was) only slowed...

I left oxyclean solution in a small spray bottle I had and it encrusted up so bad I tossed it out. It also ruined the pump on the spray nozzle..

Stupid Effing POPPET!

So I got 6 kegs from RCB. I rebuilt one, new orings on the lid and the posts (5 orings total per keg)... I clean it, toss beer in it and seal it.

The lid leaks a bit.. ok nothing new I've dealt...

A half pound of those same beans on eBay is 20+ship from a reputable seller (that many of my brewing pals have used).. 50 bucks in nuts!
