I know it's not saving much, but I figured I was brewing anyways so why not. Also I really don't messing with DME so it made making the starter a lot cleaner.

I haven't, I still use my rectangular igloo cooler I built when I went AG. It works great and I always get 85% or better efficiency so I've never been able to justify to myself upgrading my mash...

I use the SQ14 burner mounted on my own rig for 10 gallon batches and it works great, and it is a lot quieter than the brinkman burner I have up top for my HLT.

I'd say take out want you don't want carbed, then add the necessary amount of sugar to carb the rest. Sounds easier than measuring out pet bottle.
