It is weird to not get tracking info isn't it? I probable buy something everyday online, but it still throws me for a loop when I don't get tracking info. I also hate when I don't get free 3 day...

What I have read (can't remember where now of course!) 30min additions don't add much in smell, flavor or bitterness.

I would skip the 30min add and put those hops in at 60...

I'd say the smell was "strong".. we couldn't have people over and avoided the family room for 2 solid weeks. It'll be nice to have that keg back.

I wonder if it'll be good for the lawn?

That's why I didn't want to add 5 more tabs of Campden, because of the weird after taste it gave it... however like you mentioned, a few days later that flavor is gone.

I don't know if I screwed up something in the process or not, but after back sweetening and kegging it, it's horrible. The smell is rank and it tastes like the smell with a hint of the frozen...

Next time I think we'll make the flour into a slurry like you would for soup. After we strained the wort we didn't find the dough and nothing bobbed up to the surface, so I guess they broke apart.
