the yeast are still using up a large portion of the available nutrition as well as producing alcohol so I'm not sure if crowding out would matter.

well I just thought that these would be useful for making ciders and stuff that you want sweet. instead of back sweetening, pasteurizing or adding lactose you can simply remove the beads once you hit...

i used to just use a bung and a length of normal siphon tubing.... it has a greater risk of getting plugged but will contain mess if it doesn't. you could always just ride it out if you;re willing to...

wlp007 or wy1335. both are english yeasts wlp007...

wlp007 or wy1335. both are english yeasts wlp007 claims it can get up to 80% attenuation and wy1335 claims it can get up to 76%. I would go with wlp007 because it states it has the same flavor...
