I understand that. I have never tasted the beer before it's completion, so today worried me a bit. The sample was really sweet tasting and not very hoppy like a pale ale should be.

The last sentence is the all-grain mash instructions, so unless you have a MLT/other all-grain equipment, I don't think this recipe will work for you.

safe mode should not open all the startup programs anyway and if you have internet access, you can download and install Avira from there.
