Hi guys,

I would not consider myself a beginner brewer, but I feel my question is a beginner question (if that even makes sense..).

Missing last few points of fermentation on RIS

I made a RIS about a month ago that I mashed at 149 and an OG of 1.110. My plan was to finish at 1.020. I am at 1.023 but the last 3 points are happening. I racked to secondary tonight where it is...

So, I've taken apart my compact fridge and am ready to connect to my fermentation chamber. I noticed the copper running on the sides was almost in the foam and then just had the metal sides attached....

Check out the bottom of this page. You can sweat together some of the fittings, just not all of them, so it's still easy to clean.

I found some black Caulk at Home Depot or Lowes that I used on mine. Not sure about your seal, but it seems like it will be tough since it's flexible. I imagine most paints will crack and flake off.
