The temperature is in the high 20's / low 30's so I don't think thats the problem. Perhaps the colder temperature is actually helping the CO2 absorb better causing excess foam.

Now this is a dumb...

How to clean boil over on burner

Can anyone recommend a good refrigerator/temp control for consistent temperature control? I'm mostly doing ales now but in the future I would like to at least try lagering. Any suggestions?

I think I read in the manual it should be 20lbs/ft and the ball valve should be 32lbs/ft. I'm guessing then it doesn't make much of a big deal then?

Are you using these 3 as a HLT/MLT/BK? If so aren't you concerned with the fact that the thermo will basically be useless sit it sits so high ~8.25 gallons?

I only plan on doing 5 gallon batches...
