If you are using that kind of airlock I wouldn't transfer to secondary because of oxidation risk. Just bottle it after fermentation. With a little luck it'll taste just fine. 3-4 weeks fermenting...

Nice, should give some high abv alcohol! Did you just add the sugar to cold AJ because I cooked mine so the sugar completely dissolved in the AJ. My OG was 1.094 and I used 2 packages of wyeast 4021...

Or You can sweeten with non fermentable sugars like candarel, lactose(not real sweet, but takes of the edge) or perhaps stevia (no experience with that one though)
