A lot of "Return-It" type recycling places will sell you grolsch bottles back for the deposit. Which would be between 5-10 dollars depending on your local deposit rates.

Thanks for all the quick replies.

They all helped quite a bit. I didn't really think about grain/water absorbtion and it really did take up a good amount of volume.
All in all I used 11 gallons...
