Personally, I'm more drawn to the UdOO board for the same purposes. Partly because I'm lazy with soldering, and feel like the freescale iMX6 will have more longevity, given a roughly 4-fold increase...

I was thinking it'd be possible to freeze a good amount in a vial like White Labs sells theirs in (a good 30ml? whatever the amount is they sell). However, these aren't autoclavable.

You just want to make sure it's not on the same breaker as another fridge/freezer. if they kick on at the same time, it will trip the breaker and you'll have a sad day.
