Pros: Works well, easy clean up and transfering.
Cons: Lid isn't air tight (even with 15 lbs of bricks on it), the air lock never moves, so it is difficult to know how fermentation is going. Can't get the smell of previous batches out.
Recommended? NoAll in all it is an okay product, I was looking to get another one until I saw the price increase, the extra money for it being syphonless isn't worth it considering it isnt air tight.
Recommended? YesPerfect for the beginning brewer! Holds 5 gallons of brew. It came in a starter kit with everything needed to start your first brew.
Recommended? YesThe siphonless fermentor seems to work alright. It sort of retains the smell of the previous beer you made so it might affect the flavor of your current beer.
Recommended? YesSimple, easy to clean and sanitize, everything it should be.
The supplied airlock works well and is easy to disassemble too.
Recommended? YesNice fermentor.
The spigot makes it real handy to take samples and drain the bucket without picking trub.
