Cons: no spare popets available
Pros: inexpensive, lightweight
Cons: gas dip tube had green oxidation inside it beer dip tube too short leaves a lot of leftover beer in keg
Recommended? NoI agree totally agree with Rosier9's review.
Recommended? NoI decided to try two of these new Kegco kegs, upon arrival I wasn't overly impressed. The steel is thin and there was some surface pitting on the tops. A good cleaning will be required due to the residue on the stainless. Dents and dings happen fairly easily on the lightweight stainless. The metal strap handles are somewhat rough on the hands with full kegs. The lid appears to be somewhat larger than that found on standard corny kegs. The dip tube leaves 15-20 ounces at the bottom of the keg.
Overall I wasn't impressed with these kegs, I will continue to buy used kegs...
