Title says it all, looking for a 14 gallon (though I'd consider a 7gal for the right price) conical with tri clamp fittings. I'd prefer a local cash pickup somewhere in the Northern California area

    Price: $600.00

    Pros: Easy to use.

Cons: Cleaning the 3 piece valves, not really too bad.

I have 3, 2 on legs and wheels that I don't use in the Laggering fridge and one with no legs and no wheels. I recomend getting the wheels. I don't have to find someone to help me move them. I've made many batches in these and I am glad I have them. The only reason they don't rate 'Excellent' is price. No fault of the company.

Pros: Works great for 5 and 10 gal. batches. Easy to clean. Added legs makes keg filling easy as can be. Very easy to dump the yeast making for a clearer beer.

    Cons: Pricey

I bought the Blichmann 14.5gal. Fermentor from Craig's list as the price was a bargin and it was like new, the fermentor does what it's supposed to do and does it well. I added the casters and leg extensions to make it more manageable around the shop.

Pros: Seamless weld design, excellent engineering.

    Cons: None!

After brewing my first batch with the 14.5 gallon conical, I will never (on purpose!) go back to carboys. The sanitization process is a snap and it fits in my glass front lager fridge.

I ordered one of these a week or so ago. I have not recieved it yet. I was wondering what size of freezer and models everyone uses for temperature control. I am wanting to buy one hopefully before it gets here so I can brew right away.
