Bargain Fittings Weldless Brewpot Fitting Set
REVIEWS(29 Total Reviews) Add A Review
Pros: All stainless, with choice of valves and I/O fittings
Cons: Other than the fact that it isnt actually welded in the kettle...none
Recommended? NoOrdered one for my big Al brewpot after seeing a fellow brewers install one onto his setup. The fit and price are just right. I'm kinda interested in the one piece fittings that look to have the washer brazed/soldered on...especially since they use a BIG silicone washer instead of an o-ring.
A few days later I placed another order with bargainfittings for some cam-loc QD fittings and such. Order was placed at 1:52 and I recieved a shipping confirmation at 2:35. Now I may be able to plumb up my setup with QD fittings in time for a weekend brew! Wayne, you !

Pros: seals easily but had to used a wrench. Stainless is a good weight as well.
Recommended? YesInstalling this weldless fitting took about 20 minutes. The instruction say to use one gasket and to handtighten. I ended up needed to use a wrench to hold the inside nut in place while I screwed on the ball valve. It still spins somewhat freely but doesnt leak, so Im not that concerned.
Remember to use plumbers tape to help with leaks.
