In hopes to combine them..I do not see on the site what I need..and have emailed them..anyone else do the same? And can lead me in the right direction..

thanks a bunch..

These are a bit expensive..but really for what I paid and how nice they are it is better than some cheaper ones from most online stores for sure..Im excited!!!

Instead of that second reg, you probably wanted this one: http://www.micromatic.com/draft-keg-beer/regulators-pid-641-AddOn.html

The left side port already has the same threads that are on the CO2 tank allowing for another primary to be threaded on (with the added flexibility of using each reg by itself on its own tank). Trust me, you'll get an extra tank some day.

You could have also bought the two as a kit:
http://www.micromatic.com/draft-keg-beer/regulators-pid-642-Battery.html
and then added a WYE or a cheap TEE to branch off of the outputs.

In any case, if you want to put the two together that you already bought, you should be able to remove the CO2 tank connection nipple from one of the regs and connect the two together via a short 1/4" nipple like this http://www.micromatic.com/part-pid-1319069.html

I do think I remember the high pressure ports being left hand thread (the ones on the left and right sides) while the top and bottom low pressure ports are right hand thread.

I didnt see the top one..it is the same just has a connection piece that I need. I went for the double one becasue it made it slightly cheaper..well not if the connection piece is expensive..LOL

In the picture it has the piece I need.

Yeah, I looked for that piece too under accessories and replacement parts. It would be a nipple that has 1/4" left hand male NPT thread to whatever the male thread is on CO2 tanks. No idea what thread that is.

As mentioned though, you can remove that longer stem and couple the two with a simple nipple if all else fails. I'd ask micromatic if they have that little adapter.

Done and done..I figure they must have the piece if they sell the add on reg...I can't believe I didn't see that piece..it is 2 $ more so I figure they could sell me the piece for 2$..:ban:

i went back and I it is at the bottom of the page..LOL

is that what u did?

I emailed Micro Matic and they said
"Our apologies, but I stated in the previous e-mail, due to the high pressure in gas CO2 cylinders, and injury of death which can occur from improper installation, we do not sell just the fittings for connecting primary gas regulators together"

They will not give me a straight answer..it seems they want me to by the add on one and wont explain how to do it otherwise..If they let me add on from the primary..I could just as easilty screw that up..seems strange

So I have become even more confused on adding my micromatic regulators. It seems the stems fit different styles..anyone atached micromatic primary and secondary regs? What style? left or right thread? Micromatic is no help on this..

Look on the backs of the regs. Are the ports labeled RHT and LHT (left hand thread)? I know that nipple is right hand thread (standard). In any case, you can buy the parts just about anywhere and not necessarily from micro. I just can't recall whether the high pressure ports are supposed to be right or left hand. If they are right, that nipple (or any 1/4"NPT nipple will do fine). Yes, it's high pressure but what kind of idiot can't thread a nipple in?
