Will there be a noticeable off flavor of the stout if i put a honey brown in this fermentor with that yeast cake? I pitched wlp004 irish ale in the stout.

I put Edwort's Haus Pale Ale on a Spiced Stout cake. No problems. Both are delicious.

I will second that. color and flavor does not come through... not in a measurable way. I have gone light to dark.

:off: In rereading my post, I think that someone should probably bake a Spiced Stout Cake. It just may be delicious.

Thanks for setting my mind at east, this is the fist time i used liquid yeast and wanted to reuse it with my next batch.
