Hi, i was wondering how D.M.E. compared to L.M.E. in terms of mass, eg if a recipe called for 9lbs of lme how much dme would i need to use in place of that, or is it better to just follow the recipe and use lme. Having recently brewed my first batch and it not being great (watery and generally not that tasty) i think we didnt add nearly enough dme (2.2lbs), not just because of the taste but also because it finnished fermenting quickly. I guess thats what you get for trying to walk before you can swim. For my next brew im gonna add more dme aswell as some crystal malt. Thanks
