Im interested in brewing an IPA, even a double or triple actually since i am a hop fanatic. Honestly, the more hops the better. And i don't have the time right now to play/tweak recipes so i am asking for an IPA, IIPA, IIIPA recipe that is tried and true. I don't want any recipes that you have just thought up or even have made once before!

So for all you big time all grain brewers, i need your favorite (I)(II)(III)PA recipes! Ones that are your house favorites and that you have brewed a million times before.

Oh and i'm not afraid of a really high abv...
And i really like Centennials. Idk if that helps but fire away!

Thanks,
Jake

Honestly some of my favorite IPA's were simple SMaShes (Single Malt Single Hops) beers.

Just x pounds Marris Otter to hit the gravity you want, hopped with your favorite hops to the level of ibu's you like, Mashed at 154 for 60 minutes and using s-05 or s-04. Really simple, full of flavor and a nice lacy head.

I usually use Cascade or Centennial, or some combo of both (though not then a smash but an SMa2H in my vernacular.)

You'd be surprised how tasty it is, and it gives you opportunity to try different hops.

Will do thanks. Are they theoretical recipes though? Im looking for a recipe thats been perfected! lol

I think you will find by the number of positive responses in those threads that those recipes are perfected. Those three recipes in particular have been done many, many times and are continuosly praised.

I use a different hops schedule but with that grain bill. I must say it's always a hit. It's real easy to swap most of the C hops or Amarillo to tweak it.
