Hi All
New to the board. I have been brewing for about 1.5 years now. I have maybe 30 brews under my belt, I brew every week and try new things. I just brewed a Winter Lager and was wondering what you think.
Here is what I did.
6 lb Pale Malt Extract (syrup)
.5 oz fresh ginger 15 min
1.5 oz (the equivalent of 6 whole tangerines) zest from tangerines 15 min
1 cup Tangerine Juice
.5 lb Honey
.5 oz Columbus 12% 60 min
.5 oz Cascade 6% 60 min
.5 oz Glacier 6% 30 min
.5 oz Cascade 15 min
.5 oz Glacier 15 min
2 Good Earth Sweet and Spicy Herbal tea bags 15 min
Saflager Dry Lager Yeast
Then I strained the hops and left the tangerine, ginger and tea bags in the wort to ferment and add flavor
What do you think? Will it be too hoppy? Not enough spice? LMK

I wonder how this one turned out? I'm thinking of using Good Earth tea bags also.
I was thinking of using one per gallon (5), brewing until boil then removing.
Anyone else tried Good Earth?
