Est OG is 1.065, the amber DME is a late addition at 15 minutes. I've brewed about 50 gallons this year so far, so i'm no noob. I know this is a noob problem. I added all 5 gals to the boy, and shook it. I took the reading in my thief and it read 1.100. So, i tapped the tube and bobbed the hydro a little, no changes. so i get another sample in the theif, making sure its floating. same exact reading. tapped for bubbles and whatnot. i made sure i was reading the correct side of my hydro. i dont konw what the hell happened.

another thing, this is kinda like the kitchen sink brown ale. lots of special grains. anyone think any of these are not necessary? maybe i can subsitute some or something. i like complexity, and i'm doing what i can with my extract situation.

thanks for the help!

You likely did not get it fully mixed because your ingredients don't add up to 1.100. It looks like a pretty good recipe though.
