I brewed this recipe with Surly's Furious IPA in mind. This is not necessarily an attempt at a clone, but definitely inspired by it, and I would have to say it's closer to it than any commercial IPA I've tried (Haven't tried any of the clone recipes floating around).

So I know that Furious uses golden promise and doesn't use cascade, but I did, because I wasn't cloning, I was just... inspired :)

Also, I forgot the FG because I was not sober while bottling, and decided not to write it down.

Mash
-----
16 qt mash @ 155 for 75 minutes (a little higher to get a bit more malty flavor)
add 3 qt before first runnings
12 qt sparge

The hop recipe is based on what I had on hand, but I'll probably do it exactly the same next time. When I dry hop, I only do it for five days, to avoid grassy flavors. I hate grassy dry hop flavors and I've never had them with this method. I would just throw those in with the flameout hops if you don't want to dry hop.

Next time I do this I'll try Maris Otter (Haven't been able to use it yet)
