Made this with a friend's Habs this weekend. Really tasty with a nice heat...

Juice of 8 limes (about 1 cup)
1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, torn and bruised
Simple syrup (1 cup sugar 1 cup water heated and stirred until sugar dissolves)
1 Habanero pepper, seeded with ribs removed, roughly chopped

Combine ingredients and add water to make 2 liters. Let sit overnight in the fridge then strain through a fine-mesh strainer.

I put it in a 2-liter bottle and carbonated with my carbonator cap.

Hot and fresh summertime crowd pleaser...

Thanks for sharing this! I used jalapenos and kept it at low spice level. It was a huge hit! This will be kept on keg for sure this summer.

used a full habanero in my 3L recipe. turned out good but hot. Get an idea of how you want your final drink to turn out. If it's hot then use a full one, if you want just a hint use 1/4.
