Hi everyone, your suggestions needed with this one please.

I have got some beer that has been in the barrel for a 2 months now. I've already had to reprime it once as the seal on the lid was poor.

Unfortunately my next batch is nearly ready and I need something to put it in. As my barrel is now nearly less than half full, can I bottle the remainder and reprime them again, so I can use the barrel for my latest batch, or should I just go for it and have a cracking good night!?:drunk:

I haven't got enough bottles for my new batch, and I thought I'd have an empty barrel by now.

Any suggestions would be great thanks.

I don't know the answer, so if it were me, I'd take david_42's advice. I would just like to know what kind of barrels you are using, since I might want to try that myself. Monk posted about using those little 5 liter barrels, and that was what I had in mind.

Thanks for that, I'm always amazed at how forgiving homebrew can be.

B4B I'm using a 5 gallon pressure barrel.
