I just made my first cheese, a mozzarella, and it turned out ok. My question is how do I pour off the whey before I put the curd in a bowl? I tried spooning out the curd from the whey which worked, but I missed out on a lot of curd. Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks!
 
Thanks, that is what I kind of figured but there was nothing in the directions about it, so I wasn't sure.

After straining into the cheese cloth wrap it tightly with the same cloth.
