I finally went to Authority for a few minutes during lunch today, and saw these 2 Propane Turky Fryers. I wanted to get some feedback on these usits for use with a keggle.. with both 5 and 10gal full boil.

King Kooker 110,000 BTU $39.99

The Outdoor Gourmet has a square stand which i think is a plus, but the King Kooker has almost 2X the BTU rating. Both are 10PSI Propane burners.

I believe these both have an ajustable burner.

By "Authority" do you mean Sports Authority, or is that a local place? 29.99 for a burner that is good... I am interested!

I have the first one. It works fine now that I found a diffuser plate. With the "heat spreader" over the flame on high, the heat just shoots up the side around my kettle. Without the plate, I ended up with some wicked hotspots on my kettle.

I bought and returned two of the second variety (both had broken welds) before I ended up with the jet.
