Brew Day! Yeast Question.

Got my kit last night and of course today is brew day. I recieved an WYeast Activator pack(the pack you smack) and it is labeled "scottish" on the front so I assume I need to use it for my Scottish Ale...However, I can't find in the directions which yeast to use. The kit also comes with dry Muntons active brewing yeast (6 grams). Uhhhh thoughts? Thanks.

Sounds like they upgraded your yeast for you - which is a good thing! You want to use the Wyeast instead of the dry. Throw the packet of dry yeast into your bag that has all the other crap - like bungs, hoses, chalk, etc. and keep it for a rainy day. good luck today!
