Polybutyl manifold in lauter tun?

I have only seen copper, CPVC or stainless manifolds. Polybutyl water pipe is fairly flexible and is used for both cold and hot watter pipe (almost exclusively in new construction around here.) I can get this for free and with a few brass fittings I could make a real nice manifold. Anyone know of any problems?
 
your probably thinking of PEX, PB pipe is involved in a class action law suit and is no longer in common use. the only problem i could think of is if its rated to a high enough temp.
 
It is very close except for the fittings. Newer style fittings work well and that would not even matter at the pressure in a lauter tun. The stuff I have is Nibco Dura-PEX and is rated to 100 psi at 180f and 80 psi at 200f. I'm going to do it.
