I've been working an a label for my Bohemian Pils. What do you think?

Made some changes. This will be for a Bohemian Pils. (Like you probably couldn't figure that out) I can insert the style/name as appropriate. I'm wicked happy with this. Never made a label in 20 + years of brewing. I've been making them for our wines and got inspired.

It's not bad...but IIWY, I'd fool with the font choices and sizes a little bit. The TNR or whatever it is seems a little run of the mill. But for chrissakes whatever you do, don't use use comic sans---the worst font ever.

OK, I'm open to any and all advise. My artistic creativity leaves a lot to be desired.

And I'm pretty computer illiterate. For instance, what is a TNR? Comic sans I know is a typeface but to me they pretty much all look alike. Got a suggestion? I'll gladly barter beer for creativity and competence.

tnr= times new roman, the default font for MS word---overused, to say the least.

And they don't look alike at all---Comic Sans is evil incarnate. Try experimenting with some others and post your results here. Glad to help.

Here are some cool free font downloads:

And in my own defense.... I made this label up for some wine we bottled for my parents 50th anniversary this past spring. A picture of them entering the hall at their wedding reception on the front. It said 'Pat and Paul June 21, 1957" The back label shows them at MY wedding in April with all of their grandkids and said "Nana and Gramps, June 21, 2006." I can't find the final edition that shows the final label as it was printed..

My girls are the ones on the far left and the middle back row.

Mind if I give it a crack? PM or email if you want - I just need the background image, with no text on it, and I'll whip something together.

Done! I think you're gonna like it.

Printed size is 7.6" x 4.7" - good for most beer bottles. I'll attach a sample, sorry it's black and white - I just have a laser printer.

Here it is....

On 2nd thought, the above mentioned size is perfect for 22oz bombers. It's way bigger than a 12 oz. Retooling it right now.

Done. Here's a 12 oz bottle.

Again, I'm sorry these are b/w - more sorry to myself than anyone. .... I hate not having a good color printer @ home. I think I love the 12oz more than the other. :D
