Anyone out there have a stellar Barley Wine recipe? I've seen quite a lot of recipes with a huge range of grain batch sizes. Personally I like them to be a bit thick. Anyone out there ever tried "Grumpy Old" from the now deceased Leavenworth Brewery? It really grabbed ya by the eyelids.

I really like the concept of simple recipes. J.W. Lee's Harvest Ale is really good and it only has two ingredients: Maris Otter and E.K. Goldings.

I'm planning on keeping mine simple ingredient wise and make the process complicated. A really, really long boil and at least one decoction during the mash should add some nice malty flavors.
