- Proposed recipe
4.25 lb American 2 Row
1.00 lb Caramel Malt 60L
1.00 lb Flaked Oats
0.50 lb Chocolate Malt
0.50 lb Roasted Barley
0.05 lb Victory Malt
1 oz fuggles 60 min
1 oz fuggles 5 min
This will be my first recipe that I made myself and didn't didn't do with someone else. It will also be my first recipe at my place. I am getting a mash tun, but do not have a propane burner or other equipment to do a full 5 gallon batch. I think Ill get enough to do this or another recipe twice and try it on my stove. The yeast is going to come from a recent beer that is currently fermenting, so Ill take quite a bit of yeast from that. Anything stand out that doesn't belong?
edit: I'm thinking about adding some coffee to the secondary.
