Noob question

I just ordered some White Labs WLP001 for my IPA recipe. I have never used liquid yeast before.

How should I store it when I get it?

A "Correct way to make a starter" link would be helpful too.

You can just store the yeast vial in the fridge until brew day, then let it get to room temperature before pitching into the fermenter. If you need to make a starter (not necessary with the liquid yeasts), here is a basic rundown from the homebrew wiki:
