Anyone have a recipe for a clone of Redhook's Winterhook Winter Ale? I've searched and can't find one. AG preferred.

Thanks!

I found this PM recipe online, but thats it. Anybody have an AG clone? Anybody?

Ingredients:
6# Dry Amber Extract
3# Dry light Extract
1/2# 60 degree L Crystal malt
1/2# Munich Malt
2oz. Kent Golding Hops (Boil)
1oz. Cascade Hops (10 minutes)
3oz. Blackstrap Mollasses
Wyeast Brittish Ale yeast

Preparation:
Steep the grains from cold; hold temp and steep 15 - 20 minutes @ 150 -
160 degrees.
Sparge and remove grains.
Add extract and boil one hour.
Add 2oz. Kent Goldings and boil 45 minutes.
Add Cascades and molasses for last 10 minutes of boil.

I mad one of these many many years ago. I don't have the recipe but I am about 99% sure that I had help from the guys at HombrewHeaven in Everett, WA when planning the recipe. give them a call http://www.homebrewheaven.com/

BTW it came out really good as I recall.
I agree, give them a call... Good group of guys that would be able to help!!!

according to the redhook website:
Style: Winter Ale
ABV: 6%
Malts: Caramel, Pils, Chocolate, Vienna and NW 2-Row
Hops: Cascade, Willamette, Northern Brewer and Centennial
Bitterness Units: 42 IBU
Original Gravity: 15 degrees plato

I'd describe the color as somewhere between dark blonde and light amber, which make me wonder about their chocolate malt addition. what effect were they going for with such a small addition???

Great beer btw. I'm certainly going to try and do something similar with these ingredients. I especially like the use of pils malt in this beer.
