Size of braided line for cooler mlt

Going to start building a 48qt mlt in a rectangle style cooler. Looks like must people use the standard 3/4 braided line which is around $4. But I found a 2" line for $9. The only down side to going this big is I will have to get a reducer adaptor for the 1" cooler outlet. Would there be any advantages going to a larger braided line, like more surface area for wort to drain, or would it not mater since the outlet is still 1".

In my opinion there is no advantage to a 2" diameter braid in a MLT. In fact, it's probably more likely to collapse than the smaller one.

Water heater supply or washing machine supply braids are fairly robust....never seen a
2" braid.

Ya its 2" dia and maybe 18" long for $9. Its next to the water heaters at home depot. I'm probably just going to do the 3/4" line because I won't need to use any reducers for the cooler outlet, just thought the 2" could work better/faster
