I was thinking I'd like to do a wheat IPA. For whatever reason, I haven't encountered a recipe for one or heard of a brewer making one. Is there a reason for that (something regarding who a wheat beer with hoppiness would turn out)?

Even if there isn't a recipe, I'd sure like to give it a try all the same.

Also, are there any recipes for hoppy stouts? From what I know, the style has a minimal IBU rating, but I'm just out looking for rebels of beer style. :rockin:

I love using wheat in my beers and just brewed a WIPA. I thought it was pretty tasty. I went all simcoe, but i think many varieties work well.

You might try looking at porters. Though the jury is still out on really defining the distinctions between porters and stouts, porters are often hoppy, especially robust porters.
