Tasting Notes
Very nice and balanced IPA, plenty of hop
3.6kg light LME
1kg munich malt
350g Crystal 20
250 crustal 80

Mashed at 65 C for an hour.

28g Northern Brewer (10.2%) @ 60
50g Cascade (5.5%) @ 30
25g Willamette (4.7%) @ 5
25g Nelson Sauvin (12%) @ 5

Dry hopped with 24g Nelson Sauvin at 7 days.

Really nice, very balanced beer. Will definitely be making this one again. Nelson Sauvin is my new favourite for dry hopping/late addition. Damn nice hop!

Actually a touch darker than it looks in this photo.

Well, it turns out I'm in the market for a good recipe using Nelson Sauvin - I have them but haven't tried yet. Looks good!

Nice. Sauvin has some really nice aromatics. I think its wasted as a bittering hop, so i tend to use it later in the boil or for dry hopping.

I really like this recipe. I have done an all grain version of this which was equally good (sub 5kg of pils), but was a bit dryer than i wanted (thus the extract).

EDIT: I do realise i just need to adjust my mash for more residual sugar, but my LHBS had some cheap LME, etc etc
