I looked around the site for some lager recipes but didn't find what I was looking for. I am looking for an amber type lager with a medium hop flavor and an ABV% around 7-10%, any recommendations?

Unfortunately, it's been a long time since I've extract brewed, but I'd look into California Common (steam beer), as it fits your profile pretty well.
Usually mahogany to amber, medium hops (almost always northern brewers), but 7-10% is pretty big... pioneer the imperial steam? What makes steam beer cool for home brewers, is that even though it's a lager, the fermentation profile is a lot more like an ale - warmer temperatures. I'd pick up a copy of Ray Daniels' designing great beers for coming up with a great extract recipe (lots of great lager info in there as well)

Best of luck.

Hm, never heard of steam bear before but I'll check it out, thanks a lot!
