Brewer's Best Dunkelweizen help...

I'm trying to get a few other friends into home brewing so we are brewing a batch tonight. I picked up a Brewer's Best Dunkelweizen kit (I am not past extract kits yet). Anyone have any advice with this kit? I did some searching here to try and find some advice about how to brew it, I know everyone says you shouldn't follow the directions in the kit, can anyone point me to the right thread for how to brew this kit?

I brewed this by the directions and it came out really good. as long as you get your temperature and times right, you're good to go.
