I've been experimenting with honey in my recent brews, and I've had very little success getting an actual honey flavor in the final product. My best results so far have been using honey for bottle priming. Believe it or not, it didn't take long to carbonate and it left a sweet, honey-like flavor, but it was pretty subtle. I used about a cup of wildflower honey for a five gallon batch.

I'm wondering if buckwheat honey will leave more of a honey flavor since it is known to have a stronger aroma and taste. The problem is, I don't know how much to use or when to add it to the beer. Should I add it in secondary, or should I prime with it? How much should I use, or should I just stay away from it?
