I'm using a march pump and 1/2 inch tubing for my whirlpool. The nozzle is tapered down to about 5/16 and is close to the sidewall of the keggle. I'm not happy with the whirlpool velocity. Where do you guys have your nozzles? Close to center or close to the kettle side?

It seems that the tapered nozzle on the whirlpool inlet is part of the problem. Instead of increasing the velocity, it is only adding back pressure to the pump and causing a slower rate of pumping. I'll rectify this with the new tubing.
