Doing large batches in small pots?

I picked up some DME to do extract batches inbetween allgrain batches when i dont have as much time.
Is there any reason not to do 10g batches in say, a 5g pot?

I dont care about color so that doesnt matter much.

Only other thing i can think of is make sure i evenly distribute the wort into the 2 primarys after the boil other wise the gravity of the 2 can greatly differ.
 
I don't see anything negative coming out of your idea. You won't get as much hop utilization, if you are concerned about that. Other than that, the only thing I can see is when you mix the worts in primary that you may not get an 'even' gravity, but I would think that is minor. Basically going for 'filler' beer here, right?
 
Add your extract late in the boil to help with hop utilization and color.

I'd think you could just eyeball it really well when you transfer to your primaries, make sure they're even and then top up with water.

As firebird says, combining the two at bottling would help even out any differences between the two.
