By the end of this week, I'm hoping to bottle my first batch of beer. With that being said, once it is in bottles, I know I'm supposed to store the bottles away from the sun to keep them away from UV rays. However, after 2 or 3 weeks of the beer being in the bottle away from the sun, is it safe/recommended to go ahead and put the beer in the refridgerator for as long as I want? Sorry for such a beginner question, I just don't want to compromise the taste of my first batch.

Yes, after they are carbonated, you can store them in the fridge if you want. I store mine in boxes in a cool place just because I don't have room any where else!
