I know it's a talked about subject. I'm interested in those that have gone to a three roller mill, wondering WHY YOU think it's better, after you've had a chance to use it?

I honestly don't have a lot of experience comparing two vs. three roller mills since I jumped right into a three roller. My suspicion is that they're largely equal in performance when tuned in. It does take quite a bit of force to get my crankenstein going, so I can't run it off of any standard drill without burning the thing up.
Point being, I suspect I would be just as happy with a two roller as I am with a three roller.

Ditto. If i had to do it again i'd go 2-roller, one of those with the geared rollers.

I like my 3 roller, it gives the grain an extra step in processing. If you've seen the commercial mills they have lots of rollers. If I were shopping for a mill, I'd get a two roller MM2 2.0. But the MM3 1.5 will most likely out live me. As the other poster said, 3rollers are hard on drills, I burned-up a set of brushes before I motorized it.
