This is my first time brewing hard cider. It's only the third day into fermentation and one of my batches has taken on this mysterious yellow tint. It is also very cloudy. Is this a bad sign? Contamination perhaps? or it still fine? I've noticed that there is a lot more sediment in my other batch (which could be from the extra brown sugar and AJ concentrate for a little extra kick). The one on the left is "Simply Apple" brand AJ, while the one on the right is Kroger brand AJ. Both were cloudy and had sediment but the Simply Apple is nearly double the price, so it would be a bummer if its a bad batch. :(

Any insight would be appreciated!

Mine looked like that for a few days. Panicked the entire household, too.

It turned more brown as fermentation slowed down. Fear not!

I have had beers look that way during fermentation due to the yeast in suspension. My first cider was a different color during fermentation and is now very clear after a few months. Looks fine to me.
