Interesting the impact of warmer Spring weather. It's just starting to stay above 50F at night and most hop plants around here haven't even hit the top of the trellises.

Just for future reference, it is possible to pick early hops and then get a second harvest.

I'll bet you get some great crops in Oregon.
 
Unfortunately, I am in the coastal range and it tends to be too cold at night for good growth. It was 38F this morning. The valley runs 5-10F warmer and that's where the hop farms are located. The weather guessers are saying hot for the next week and I hope my plants take advantage.
