Ok so I am a novice beer brewer and want to make some mead. Had a friend make some that I enjoyed. In his recipe he said he used strawberry juice and obviously honey. Anyone have a recipe like this they will share? My friend is being stingy. Oh yeah I want to make at least three gallons

Wow, your friend sounds like a dick.

I don't have a recipe, but if I were to make one, I'd suggest 2 lbs each of strawberries and honey per gal (ie 6 lbs of each for a 3 gallon batch). A yeast like Lalvin K1V or D47 would be good for a melomel (a fruit mead). That said, you might want to be more specific about what you liked about the mead so others can give you more tailored advice.

So yeah like a strawberry cyser. Sounds pretty simple. Tons of recipes of cyser I'd say just take a simple cyser recipe and replace the apple juice with strawberry juice.
